Modern Monochrome // Marrakech, Morocco

For us Marrakesh is one of the most fascinating cities: the art, the atmosphere, the architecture and endless little pathways of the Medina, the food, colors and textures you see on the market - an endless source of inspiration. We totally get why more and more couples decide on getting married in vibrant Morocco and travel to Marrakesh or one of Moroccos other beautiful cities for their destination wedding.
In this breathtakingly beautiful place we decided to team up with some of our favorite wedding vendors from Berlin to create a minimal wedding inspiration in monochromatic neutral tones for the modern bride and groom. We chose the Riad Nomada to showcase a more natural side of Marrakesh, dedicated to the modern and fashion forward bride. The setting at the riad already had a very natural look with lots of wooden elements, so to play off those creamy white tones we chose whites, creams and neutrals for the stationery, such as mostly dried flowers for the table. The tablescape was all about layering and playing with dimension.
Playing with textures, we also chose a bridal jacket with statement sleeves, embroidered trims and a chiffon neck tie by Australian bridal designer Chosen By One Day and a simple and modern slip wedding dress by British designer Savannah Miller.
